The keyboard is a professional, fully customizable, and lightweight option for phones, tablets, and smartwatches. It offers a range of features including multi-clipboard functionality, arrow keys, large buttons, built-in calculators, and support for custom gestures. The keyboard is designed to be fast and efficient, requiring minimal memory.

To configure the keyboard, you have the ability to adjust key height for both portrait and landscape modes, select from a list of languages, switch between languages using a dedicated key or gesture, and customize layouts for different modes and languages. Additionally, you can customize the appearance of the keyboard with different themes and fonts.

The keyboard boasts an array of features such as the ability to create custom layouts for any language, adjust key heights and characters, utilize a multi-clipboard function, support special key codes, add custom templates, choose from a wide variety of themes and layouts, enable transliteration, access built-in calculators, utilize hotkeys, and even voice input (if supported by the device).

Other notable features include full text editing capabilities, auto-input and autocorrect functions (with language-specific dictionaries), arrows and page scrolling, unlimited gesture support, tabulation functionality, and macro support.

In order to access various useful links such as Settings, Multi-clipboard, Templates, Calculator, etc., users can press and hold the 123 (opt) key on the keyboard. Menu items can also be customized to suit individual preferences.

By holding the Enter key on the keyboard, users are able to access a special layout for smileys, in addition to the built-in emoji keyboard.

The keyboard also offers a multi-clipboard feature that can store up to 20 previously copied texts, allowing for easy insertion into input fields. Users can also create and customize their own templates, containing any text or special instructions for insertion into input fields.

Holding the Shift key on the keyboard will display a special layout for text editing, which includes arrows and clipboard commands for easy text selection, copying, and pasting.

Built-in language options include English, Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Greek, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Tatar, Bashkir, Hebrew, Armenian, Kazakh, Latvian, Arabic, Indonesian, Georgian, Polish, Estonian, Norwegian, Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Portuguese, and Persian (Farsi).

Additional features of this keyboard include support for all two-letter (ISO 639.1) and three-letter (ISO 639.2) language codes. Moreover, the Jbak2 keyboard offers a layout constructor that allows users to create custom layouts for any language. Detailed instructions on creating custom layouts are available in the Jbak2layout application's manual. The keyboard also provides multiple layouts for each language, with over 100 layouts currently available for various languages (as of August 2016). Users can even create their own skins (themes) by following the manual provided in the jbak2skin application.

Separate applications have been developed to prevent an increase in the size of the keyboard itself.
